Sales

We are currently looking for senior and intermediate sales individuals to join our team. Reporting to the Vice-President, Software Development, you will establish new business relationships and develop opportunities with clients through the entire sales cycle. You will manage some existing client relationships both locally and across North America. You are a technically minded individual who has the desire and ability to learn.

Occasional travel into the USA is anticipated.

Controller

This position reports directly to the CFO, and is responsible for financial reporting, variance analysis, accounting operations and compliance.

Additional duties include being accountable for appropriate internal control systems, policies and compliance; management and compliance for all taxes.

The candidate needs to have extensive and in-depth knowledge of financial and management accounting principles and practices (5+years’ experience). This position has one accounting staffer reporting to it.

The Controller is responsible for managing, overseeing or assisting in the following:

    • Maintaining the General Ledger (QuickBooks Desktop Premier)
    • Monthly Reporting (Full monthly close)
    • Bank Reconciliation
    • Invoicing & Revenue Tracking
    • Experience in using time management systems & time recording portal
    • Accounts Receivables & Credit Management
    • Payroll & Government Remittances (done in QuickBooks)
    • AP & Vendor Management
    • Cash Forecasting
    • Experience in Contract Management
    • Experience in Annual Audit Management
    • Experience in ITC-SR&ED & IRAP funding an asset
    • Experience in StarTeam Version Control an asset
    • Advanced experience in MS Suite: In particular Excel skills
    • Communication & Organization Skills a must
    • Experience in Administrative and Facility management
    • University degree in business an asset

What We’re Looking For

    • 6+ years development experience within a server side Java environment.

AngularJS Developer

We are currently looking for a Web Front-End Developer for a 6+ month contract to work on a project developing a command-and-control interface for state-of-the-art, high performance, cryptographic security products. The successful candidate MUST have a strong development background in JavaScript/Angular JS with demonstrable workplace experience. Minimum 7 years engineering experience.

What We’re Looking For

    • Socializing designs with the team and integrating suggestions and changes as appropriate.
    • Making sure that your code (and others’) is properly modularized and unit tested.
    • Providing documentation as appropriate, ranging from comments in code to end-user documentation.
    • Resolving issues found during engineering test and QA in a timely manner, taking risk into account.
    • Conceiving, proposing, and selling new ideas to the engineering team, and guiding their implementation.
    • Providing work assistance to lower level engineers, including design and code reviews.
    • Assisting the Customer Support and Marketing groups as necessary.
